Hi. I am Maggie Quick, member of QSBC and fifth year teacher here at Weekday. I have been married to my husband, Rick, for 12 years and we have 3 children, ages 9, 8, and 5. My family and my church have been the greatest blessings in my life and I love to serve them both. I went to school in New Mexico where I earned my B.A. in English and Psychology. I love literature, including children’s books, and reading to the kids at circle time is one of my favorite parts of the day. I am a passionate rockhound. I play the flute (hopefully someday in the church orchestra) and I love to paint and draw. My family lives a hobby farm lifestyle where we have a horse, keep bees, raise chickens and goats and grow a large garden every year. We do a lot of canning and preserving with our harvest. Hopefully this year you will be able to harvest the spiritual and educational fruits that your child grows in our Weekday Ministries program. I look forward to knowing some wonderful kids this year and I am sure we will have a great time!
My name is Lindsay Morris. My husband, Brian and I have been married over 8 years. We have two boys. Bennett is 3 years and Caleb is almost 17 months. We are also in process of adopting a baby girl from the Democratic Republic of Congo and hope to have her home in a few months. I’m originally from Oklahoma and graduated from OU with a health exercise science degree. Brian and I have been out of state for a few years because of his job, but got the opportunity to come home to Oklahoma last summer. We joined QSBC less than a year ago, and have greatly enjoyed being a part of the congregation. I taught in the children’s department at my church in Wichita, KS for a couple of years, but it will be my first year teaching at QSBC. I’m looking forward to spending time with your little ones and creating new friendships with the parents and other QSBC teachers.
